Tupper Lake is known as the Crossroads of the Adirondacks because of its
location in the center of the Adirondack Park. The lake is 9 miles long
beginning about 12 miles north of the town of Long Lake, NY and extending
parallel along Route 30 into the town of Tupper Lake, NY. New York Route 30
extends along the lake’s east side. The west side of the lake is mostly
wilderness, inaccessible by road but lovely to visit by boat.
